SP DX Contest 2003 - Committee Comments

In 1933 the first Miedzynarodowe Zawody PZK (International PZK Contest) took place between over 1000 participants from 45 countries plus 43 Polish Stations. There were some more than 100 countries on the DXCC List in that time. The contest's name changed in 1963 and has stayed the same ever since. In 2003 we had very special Jubilee Contest.

For the 2003 competition a special replica of the original 1933 diploma (above) is awarded to all participants.

We are glad do announce the final results of the SP DX Contest 2003. It took more time this year to prepare the final results as we were also working on some essential changes in the contest regulations and we decided to publish the results and new rules simultaneously. We decided to bring new categories and definitions into the rules, for example: THREE BAND or QRP categories. Please download complete and up-to-date rules from our new SP DX Contest WWW. The URL is the following: http://www.contest.spdxc.org.pl/. We will be very appreciated for any help to inform HAM community about the changes.

TROPHIES, PLAQUES, SPECIAL AWARDS

Every year we have special trophies or plaques sponsored for the best scores in a category, best CW score, best score from a continent etc. The awarded "category" is always the decision of a donor. Sponsored "categories" are not the same as contest categories. We have trophies for the best continental scores, best YL score etc. This year the following plaques were donated:
